Up, up and away by Harris Baigrie.

When we were in Nha Trang, Vietnam Dad and I went parasailing.  The tandem parasail for Dad and I cost 600,000 VND ($30).

Here I am waiting to parasail. I felt a bit scared.

First the staff put your harness on.

I'm ready to parasail.

This is when they connect you to the parachute and the speed boat.

It took about 5 seconds to get into the air and I was up there for about 3 minutes. It felt a bit weird and scary.

Here I am slowly lowering to the beach.

It felt a little strange to be on the land again. For $30 Dad and I had a great experience.

Well it looks like your adventure has reached new “Heights” You’re braver than me,I think I’d jump out of the harness when it got to about 3 metres high. It’s so good you and your dad can share these things together. CARRY ON DOTS

There’s no doubt about you Harris, you are a real thrill seeker now. $30 is very cheap to parasail – it would cost a lot more here in Australia.
